Hy-Brid Lifts Unveils New Accessories at ARA

As our first in-person trade show since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to make a splash at the ARA Show 2021. In addition to a brand-new scissor, Hy-Brid Lifts unveiled a series of new accessories that add increased capability to current models. Let’s see what features these scissor lift attachments have to offer!

Telematics

Telematic technology enables fleet managers, service technicians, and users to quickly diagnose and address potential issues with their machines. Hy-Brid Lifts offers telematic solutions from third party vendors like Trackunit as an optional add-on for all Hy-Brid Lifts. With integrated CAN bus technology, Pro Series models equipped with telematics offer a 360-degree view of the rental fleet, including battery health, unit location, lift status, error codes, and more. On Zero-Turn Series and Push-Around Series lifts, telematics is limited to GPS tracking only. Adding this software allows users to find equipment if stolen, receive service alerts, and troubleshoot issues remotely.

Lithium-Ion Batteries

Maximize uptime by charging machines faster and holding charges longer with lithium-ion batteries. These batteries reach full charge in as little as three hours and feature a capacity of 80 amp-hours on hydraulic machines. Since one 24V lithium-ion battery replaces both 12V lead-acid batteries used on traditional scissor lifts, operators can spend more time at height and less time maintaining the lift’s power source. Users can also access complete diagnostic information with telematic and CAN bus integrations. Lithium-ion batteries will be available on all Pro Series and Zero-Turn Series models starting Q3 of 2022.

Pipe Rack

Keep pipe and conduit secure at height with our brand-new featured add-on: a heavy-duty pipe rack. This pipe rack can carry up to 100 lbs of material without requiring counterweights or additional height restrictions. This feature is available for immediate order and can be retrofitted to all Pro Series models generation 5 or later.

Confined Access Rails

Hy-Brid Lifts are renowned for helping workers get more done. Combined with our scissor lifts’ best-in-class maneuverability, these new restricted access rails offer operators maximum accessibility on all jobsites. These confined access rails feature a 2x2 ft configuration that allows users to elevate directly into tight spaces, such as drop ceilings, without risking a fall hazard. The innovative system does not add weight or restrictions to scissor lifts, nor will it require counterweight to balance. Confined access rails can be factory ordered on Pro Series and Zero-Turn Series models starting Q3 of 2022.
